For those who love adventure; kayak, paddleboard (all supplied with life jackets), fish or lie in the sun, explore the bay and enjoy the small village of Clarks beach.

Where are we?
Red Rock Cottage is just 40-minutes from Auckland New Zealand, a peaceful drive from the city, with half of this drive through beautiful New Zealand countryside. For Auckland locals, we are 20mins off the motorway at Karaka.
The cottage
The cottage is a 2-bedroom oasis with an open plan lounge and kitchen area, framed by a wall of windows that fold back to welcome the ocean into your lounge. The cottage has luxurious fittings throughout, from the SMEG appliances to the hand designed New Zealand furniture and crafted wall art. WIFI, a smart television, kayaks, paddleboards, and opportunities to fish on our exciting Manukau harbor cater to all.
The village amenities
Our local village of Clarks beach can provide restaurant dining (Chinwags, Thai, Golf club cafe, or delicious takeaways - the snapper burger is amazing!). Enjoy holiday essentials such as massage or golf at our local Top10 New Zealand golf course. The village and community are filled with friendly locals, birds and passing wildlife, such as seals and Orca over the summer season.
The beach
Clarks beach is tidal, and the landscape constantly changes. The tide changes in depth, sometimes it is deep and expansive, other times smaller and light. Children and dogs love to run free out over the sand out to the horizon when the ocean rolls away... Dogs are welcome on the beach all year around, (on lead in peak times at summer).
We are Pet friendly - house trained pets are absolutely welcome, please just advise us prior to booking. (Not that you would ever know, the cottage is utterly immaculate! it's our thing! :D)

The immaculately presented, brand new 2-bedroom cottage is well-appointed with high-quality fixtures and appliances. In addition, the place is in a beautiful, north-facing location with stunning views right on the beach with sun all day. Close to the golf course, a prime location with the local shops and restaurants just a 4 minute walk away. Our favourite part is sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and taking in the vast views; enjoy watching nature's theatre.
